Hey guys, I was going to change my headlight today, but the metal clip came all the way out, and I dont think I can quite figure out how to get it put back in without taking the whole assembly out. So, can someone tell me exactly how to remove the whole assembly? I will probably polish/restore them while they are out anyway!

PS: I did try to search for this, I dont know if im not doing something right or not, but I couldnt find a topic on what I needed, sorry if its been answered before!

Here is a link to the work shop manual http://myvehicross.com/download/vehicross-workshop-manual/
look in section 8A-3 to see how to remove the headlight.

Here is a thread that has info on replacing the bulb. http://www.vehicross.info/showthread.php/6663-headlight-replacement-question?highlight=headlight
and video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqmcl663WOo&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Here is one about aiming them after you get them back in http://www.vehicross.info/showthread.php/16513-Everyone-keeps-FLASHING-ME?highlight=headlight%20aim

Just search for headlight :)

yes, if you unscrew the phillips head screw that holds the light bulb in place, the retaining clip comes off light bulb, easier to get the electrical connector off then if it's seized like mine was. Using a camera, I photographed how the clip was attached to the other headlight with bulb in place before I took it apart. Thankfully the electrical connector and the boot came off without much of a fight so I had an example, else I was about to remove my entire assembly, just to replace headlights....... trying to insert picture, but not allowing me
