Will this disc player work ?

Disc player went bad. It is a stock 5170[2001 VX] I have a 5070[from a 2000 trooper] in great playing shape will . Will I have any problems hooking it up and will it work with the radio? Thanks,

I'll defer to someone else who knows the answer, but I will say that I haven't used a CD since I got mine--because my entire music collection is on a USB thumb drive that's always plugged into the front of my aftermarket head unit.

Some VX people like to keep things stock !

My guess.... hook it up and try it. It's easily accessible so a quick plug-n-play should reveal your answer. Most of us had it with the stock garbage when it failed a year after driving off the showroom floor, heh. :D
