I was dropping off a friend at the airport, yesterday and a guy at the curb ask me, if Isuzu had recalled my VX yet? He continued to say he owned one and Isuzi recalled it and he had to purchase a new vehicle. My question is, has anyone heard about this or recieved a recall notice??? I think this guy was trying to get me a little pissed off.

I've never heard of any recall like that. Also if a vehicle is recalled it's usually to repair a problem not replace it with another vehicle. That guy was yanking your chain or smokin' some really good stuff. I could be wrong and if I am someone better fill us all in on this phantam recall.

I used to be one of those "Grand Cherokee guys"... then I had a "vehicular experience" that could be likened to a religious one that changes ones life.....okay, so I traded it in on the VX..nuff said!

Spazz - are you sure he wasn't offering you $1 to take that piece of sh$t Jeep off his hands? I'm thinking that was what was going on - OR.. he was smoking crack - either way, it's going to cost him more than $1 t get rid of that thing!!

Well tonite I did the unthinkable with my VX. A friend at work keep puching me to have a tug of war. Me and my VX against him and his Wrangler. Well you would all be proud. We won and unfortunate for him he got spanked and broke his rear transfer case. his is an 03 tomorrow he's gonna call the Jeep dealer and find out if it's covered under warrenty but I doubt since he did put a 3" lift. I can honestly say it the 1st and last time I will put my baby through that. Now we get the respect we deserve at work.;Dy;

LOL! I love it! Well, at Uwharrie, they let a Jeep go play and ended up dragging it back in the wee hours of the morning. While all the Isuzu's wheeled the Jeeper wrenched. Then again, the best original Jeeps were built by Ford!

He was offering the dollar to be seen driving NEAR you. That's all. We all know that. No need to lose sleep over it. ;)

He was just proud of the fact that when he stopped at the Dollar Store he was able to find a Jeep there.;)

I do know of a recall on the Axiom for the window pillars. My wife has one and took it in. they just added some sort of padding for safety.
