Are there any So.Cal VXrs that would like to do a Mojave trail get together this winter c?
Start in pioneer town on a Friday eve, zip throu Johnson valley in the Morning and jump on the Mohave trail and wind up in Laughlin on Saturday night ? 150 miles one way, 90% dirt roads/river beds, green/blue tag unless some would like to do some easy black.
Just a thought.

Oh come on.. Just did a Death Valley / Trona / Panamint mt. / Beatty NV. 580 mile exploration of ghost towns and mines with our 230,000 mile VX. I'm getting tired of telling people it's the last VX in So. Calif. lol
Took a few short videos and posted them on you tube.
No I don't use FB.

Ahhh while driving my VX home from work yesterday I stoped at our local and only gas station I was greeted by on their VX owner. He just bought a proton a few months ago and we talked for a little bit about VX's. He hasn't been off road other than once on a unpaved road so I guess there is two VX's in So Cal ! Lol

What is the geographic boundaries that define the area that is So Cal?
Joe is located further south than you and is in CA. Does that count for being in So Cal? I'm sure that there are more. I also seem to remember talk of a map on this site that had locations of members, but I could be mistaken.

A map with locations and names would be nice to see as long as they were updated from time to time.
No really I know from other people saying"My friend has one" there is a lot in So.Cal.
And when I was looking for one to buy I looked at 4 and bought 2. $2500.00 & $1500.00
I was only stiring the pot to see if anyone wants to get together and see if they want to go out in the dirt.
I'm building a street / mild off road Proton thats pretty darn clean and the other will be set up for exploring / long distance.
Yes I know Joe is about 100 miles south of me and his is set up oh so nice for hard core 4x4ing I feel.
I do have a lot I would ask him about building a bullet prof VX or just reliable. Since very few know (or will say) what years, models of parts fit our VX,s

There are a lot of opinions regarding a bulletproof vehicross. I am currently working on my version. Fortunately I have the benefit are having several vehicross, and Troopers. But I am downsizing and that will soon change.

If you can manage to make it to Moab that is a good place to get a lot of input and decide for yourself what is the version of Bulletproof you want to create.
