Searched many different lift topics and many point towards an "All you ever wanted to know about VX lifts" or the "Holy Grail of Lift options" but the link is 404 not available. Can someone revive it or provide a different link? Otherwise the information is scattered and difficult to keep track of. Thanks.

To fix broken URLs remove the word forums from the URL for example
This is what you have:
http://www.vehicross.info/forums/showthread.php?t=13470&highlight=lift+wiki
The link above is broken but after removing forums the link works.
http://www.vehicross.info/showthread.php?t=13470&highlight=lift+wiki
It will take you the the link below.

Glad to help, please post the threads you find that work after the removal of the "forums" so others can see them in the future. I could not find the ones mentioned above and now would like to see them.

Amen!

Perhaps you're not aware the site admin has had some health issues that's prevented him from working out the bugs.....

VX Kat,
I am sorry, I was unaware. I am new to the forum, but not new to VX's. I bought a 2001 when new and had it for 4 years; and recently bought my second 2001. I never got a chance to do some of the things I wanted...receiver hitch, small lift/larger tires, etc with my first and am hoping to do a few upgrades this time.
I also have a Ford Raptor, and the forum there has 500 posts/day...very active. 99% of my time here is going through old threads filled with dead links and invisible pictures...after a couple of weeks it's frustrating to try to learn from others when almost all of the threads are filled with dead ends. The "AMEN" was out of relief to know that there are others as frustrated as I have been.
On the FORDRAPTORFORUM.com there are several senior members that have privileges to correct errors/edit/remove inappropriate info, and help run the forum.
Again my apologies. I have learned a lot if important info here, and am looking to be a long term contributor/participant. I was on the Cummins Turbo Diesel Register forum for 7 years, and FRF for 4. I want to learn and help others when I can. I meant no criticism....

Yeah, it's been very frustrating for all of us, but at least Chris figured out that little fix for many many of the 404 errors....(remove /forums from the URL), but unfortunately there's still many that don't have that format and we haven't figured out how to get around it.
This software problem coincided with the rise of the FB VX group, so most of all activity is now on FB...but FB was never intended to be a searchable database and so any data listed there is virtually lost within a short period of time. The VX.info forum is the real meat of the database on VX stuff. I'm sure hoping we don't ever lose all that info.

I have saved some info to word documents along with pictures just in case the information gets lost. I recommend doing the same if you find a thread particularly good and helpful.

For sure! Over the years I've saved a boatload of info from here.

I hope others are doing it too.
