A continuation of Paul_A's "Water under inlet manifold" (http://www.vehicross.info/showthread.php/22043-Water-under-inlet-manifold) .

Did anyone find the right O-Ring that goes on the Stat Housing by the thermostat for the heater pipe. I went through hundreds of them at AutoZone and found one that looks like it, but leaks. I tried finding one the last time I did it, but that broke apart too.

High temp and coolant resistant. I've seen fuel or oil seals, but didn't want those.

Terrible time with this. Thanks!

My last step was to go to Ace Hardware and just experiment.

Maybe this works?

...if you need a pic.

As you may or may not know, Acura rebadged Isuzu Rodeos/Troopers for the Honda Passport/Acura SLX.

You'll need to go to acuraoemparts.com, and look under the diagrams for the SLX. The part numbers are:
1-09623-130-0
9-09561-225-0

I did this in March as I was swapping engines (for the 3rd time), and then again when I swapped engines a couple months ago (I transferred them over). I ordered 4 of each gasket for future use as I realized that nothing off the shelf would work and that these were getting pretty hard to get.
