Hello Yall,
After 10 years of owning this amazing little Dragon, due to financial & personal reasons, I have to say goodby to it. The VX has an excellent interior and exterior, and no rust...It was a Texas VX until 2016 when I moved to Florida, but the VX has always been garage kept since I bought my house. The VX has $202K thousands miles, but has always driven like new, and always averaged between 15-18 miles in town, and around 20-22 on the highway. The tires are almost brand new. I've only taken it off roading once. The paint is in good shape and so is the cladding. Mechanically I have the following three issues:

1- Power steering pump leaks oil...I have to top it off once a week
2- The Ac works and blows cold air; however, it makes a squeal occasionally, so the clutches could be going out
3- Recently (since June), according to the experts on this forum, the VX may have developed a broken head gasket...However, this is not conclusive, and it could be just bad thermostats...According to the replies on the post!

I'm hoping to get $4000 for it, it is really clean, and it looks like new when it is waxed...I usually treat the cladding on weekly basis to keep it nice and black.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or if you need me to send you any pictures

Note:
I live in the Tampa, FL area

Thank you

Hello Yall,
I found out there were several tests I could run to determine whether I have a blown head gasket. So far I ran 2 and they both were negative. I refilled the radiator (I drained it two months ago), and had no issues at all starting the VX and driving it around the neighborhood...It drove like new! No shaking, missing, or hesitation. I am very optimistic it is the thermostats. I need to run the gas test and the compression tests to be sure. But so far no antifreeze in the oil, and no white residue on the bottom of the oil cap, and no gases detected when the radiator cap is removed, all of which would indicate a blown head-gasket if they were present...Knocking on wood, the remaining two tests will be negative as well. I'll run the tests this weekend!
