View Full Version : Anyone know where to get a rear abs tone ring

Hey All,
I had a minor diff oil leak in the rear passenger axle. So I pulled the axle out and replace the diff facing seal/bearing, but the brake facing side I found what looks to be an abs tone ring. Without damaging this ring, I cant seem to get the brake facing seal/bearing out to replace.

My googlefu isn't that bad, but I can't for the life of me find the abs tone ring, or even a diagram/part number with this ring for a vehicross.

Anyone know where I can find one?

Did you damage the sensor and ring getting it off, or are you looking for how to get it off without breaking anything??

I did not attempt to take the ring yet. But the only way I can get the ring off is to cut it (doesn't look like I can pull the ring off). If you have instructions on how to remove the tone ring, I would definitely love to take a look.

It's been a long time since I replaced my discs, but I don't remember having to cut the tone ring off. The front ring is bolted to the disc itself (see link below), but I can't remember what the rear disc was like.

Thanks, I will take a look at it again. Maybe I missed something the first time.
