I've finally gotten my VX homage site to a point where I'd like to share it with the group. It is by no means complete (I don't think there are any dead links), but I've been working on it so long that I wanted to get some feedback on it. My intent is to fill in all the gaps, with extensive scans and images. There will also be sections on Isuzu manuals and VX events that I'll be adding.

In the meanwhile, please enjoy this preview of things to come:

Great looking site John! Definitely looking forward to a more in-depth look, since I know what an uber-collector you are. ;Do;

The only thing odd I noticed, was that the .gif images loaded slow compared to the .jpg images which popped right up.

Keep it up!

Hey Spazz,

The "About VehiCROSS" page is actually a most recent marketing description of the VX (it basically describes the 2001 model as that was what I bought). If you look at the History page, you'll see the actual model differences, starting with the prototype through the last production version.

I've been dying to let the cat out of the bag on my website, but had a lot of dead links - that's why some of the pages only have a single item or image on them. I've got content to really fill this up, but it takes time to take and process photos and make good descriptions.

Nice job! Easy to use and well organized. I liked reading your story about how you became a VX owner and I enjoyed your links page, too. (That crazy Russian VX with the airbrushed missles always cracks me up.)

Wow!

Great Job..I printed up 15 pages for my scrape book....

By the way that's a pretty nice garage you Proton lives in! :D All them flowers and all! Looks like you could actually put a casket in place of your VX and hold a service there:p

Thanks for all your comments, observations and kudos!

My intent is to continually add to and flesh out areas of the site, pretty much weekly. I'm going to first complete the promotions and mods sections, before continuing on to the other areas.

All thos Azaleas where around my previous house and carport. My new house has an incredible array of foliage as well, with over 50 Camilia varieties, Rhododendrons and Azalias. The previous owner was a real gardening freak - fortunately I am as well.

I just put a monsterous roof on the new house (3800 sq ft of roof) and it's set me back quite a bit. I'm a bit scrapped at the moment and stuck doing house projects until the hizzy is back up to snuff. Hopefully I'll be back on track as I intend to install that Super Charger that I bought from Tone in my baby soon. She gets lonely if I don't do something every month!

I am in Dublin Ohio this week - and totally missing my ride. Leave it Vehicross.info - and my buddy Johnny Apollo to keep me feeling at home while I am far away. ;Do;

What a nice looking site! Very polished and level-headed. All the photos are first-rate. How about something slightly off-kilter to balance all that logic?
