16" wheel polish

I have a 1999 with stock polished 16" wheels. Are the wheels coated with a clear coat or can they be polished with a chrome(?) polish? Thanks.

Your wheels are not coated, but never use chrome polish on polished aluminum wheels. You'll scratch the hell out of 'em. Use Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish.
