Does anyone have a pic of what they trimed to be able to run P285/60R18's. I'm looking at the Nitto Terra Grapplers and want to know how much and what part needs trimmed.

Also, if I lift the front, 1-1.5", would that eliminate the need for trimming.

If anyone has photos that would be great.

Thanks!

VR4-Quest,

Its a piece of cake

Psychos2 was kind enough to post an image of his cut cladding in his gallery - I used it to help me with my recent trim. Took all of ten minutes. Here is his image (you are looking slightly forward into the wheel well from above, with the top of the tire to your right as you look at the image):

If you want more images, let me know - I'll go out to the driveway and take a couple for you.

From what I recall, my tires didn't even rub unless I was in reverse, turning AND braking at the same time... even then it was MINOR! If you have a 1-1.5 inch lift, you would probably be in the clear... the trimming is EASY though... if you mount your wheels and tires, and then turn the steering wheel one way, you will see the inner corner of the cladding where it MIGHT touch... just slightly trim it... its not even noticable after done... heck, you probably wouldn't see it IF you were looking at it.

TTYL!

Coach... I mean Randy (I often forget who I really am) ;)
