wish i could afford one. VX for old guys with more money. I test drove one and wasn't crazy about the opposite hood effect (slopes up instead of a sharp down). but i like the interior.

My initial reaction when I first saw these was that they were pretty damn cool, especially with that much power. Now, a couple of months later, I've seen too many soccer moms driving around in them and my initial interest has turned to distaste. Still drooling a bit about the engine though.

"Soccer Moms", or anyone for that matter, will buy anything that can be marketed in a way that will make them want it. The same could have been done with the VX.

I'd take an FX45, no doubt.

Ya, I have to admit, I liked it when I first saw it, but after a few months, it's become the Mustang of this decade. Everyone and their grandmother has one. Combined, I see more Muranos and FX45's than H2's now. And H2's are like cockroaches around here. :D

H2's surpass the gvw required for a super tax break when used for business purposes. The writeoff is sinful.

Some photos I took a little bit ago when I was looking at the FX's:
I took a 35 out for a test drive... thing was fast and handled great!

Well I still say its an ugly duckling next to a VX and no matter who makes it or how fast and luxurious it is, it will never have the allure of being such a limited-production rarity. :-)

I'm a little funny about SUV's. Never wanted one - none of them. Wasn't the least bit interested. To this day, regardless of things that are faster or have a more prestigious name on the back or whatever, the VX remains the only one I'd have. That's just me. I like SUV's more now, but given the options... if it weren't for the VX I'd probably be in a Audi TT.

Dave, I'm with you. A black FX-45 is what I want.

And with this month being the last car payment I have to make on my VX. The FX is on my wish-list of additions.

The VX needs to be a little wider to accomodate some wider tires. It looks so small next to the car hybrid. It does however look 10 times as awesome. i'd like the width and interior of the FX with the body styling of the VX. that would be a great VX2.

I must admit...I saw "Car & Driver Television" on Spike TV and the Infinity FX 45 was a featured segment of one show. I still prefer
a 2-door vehicle as opposed to a 4-door vehicle...but it did impress me in its sportiness and nice sounding V8. They made mention of the FX 35 as well. If I didn't own a VX I would be looking at one. A bit pricey though (fx 45)...however, a bargain compared to the Porsche twin-turbo.
