Just a quick note to invite those in (or around) Houston to meet up this Saturday (11th). Tone will be in town and this is a chance to look over the SC and maybe grab some of the "goodies" he usually brings along. For those of you in the Big City that haven't had the chance to attend in the past, please drop me a line and I'll provide directions to Katy & phone numbers. I’ve got to be down in Houston on Sunday for my daughter’s competition so anytime on Sat is fine. Im thinking about leaving Austin around noon if you’d like to caravan down. Unless George wants to do an earlier meet.

I'm planning on being there (probably for dinner, since I have other commitments earlier that day). GS: give me a call and let me know where dinner is going to be.

- Suggestions: There's a couple of good sportsbars near B-8 and Westheimer (Champps / Fox & Hound). Good food and big TV screens. There's also Pappa's Hamburgers on Westheimer, near Galleria. I always prefer Kemah for visitors and kids, but understand that the place is kind of far away for some of you. But is a good hangout place (Joe's Crabshack gets kind of wild Saturday nights - there are usually some bikers showing off their HDs). There's also a Hooters and a small hamburger joint (Tookies) that was selected by the guys at "The Buzz" as one the best burgers in town.

- My wife's VX is still at the shop - so we'll miss her "baby".

- I saw a yellow VX (debadged) again on 35 (Pearland) a couple of days ago. A lady was driving it - could not stop her since was driving the opposite direction.

- Tone: How much for the chrome bar (if you still have it)? I'm interested if you give me a really, REALLY good deal.
