Just got a new set of rotors, cross drilled/slotted.
How do you know if they are a good product appon inspection, is there something I should look for?
They are coated in a silver/zinc to make them shiney and "prevent rust", is that good?
The warrentee is 60 days after install, is that normal?
Any response is apreciated, thanks.
Jay
Buy from a company with a good reputation. As posted before you bought those, drilled rotors on heavy vehicles are more likely to crack - hope these don’t.

Have you heard any cases of this happening in any VX with cross drilled rotors?
Anyone here have cross drilled rotors?
Your making me a bit nervous.

Tone I noticed this tread by you.

I got one set in from them but unfortunately, my telling them repeatedly that I had ABS did not allow them to send the right ones. Replacements are being sent and they are paying the freight back on the set that is not tapped for the ABS ring. A good time to replace rotors FYI is when you are greasing your wheel bearings.
Also, drilled rotors are NOT recommended on heavy vehicles due to the excess heat and stress out on them. I got the diamond slotted ones. Pics this weekend when they go on.

What do I look for on the front rotors to tell it's tapped for the ABS ring?
