hey guys/gals,

i've seen some of the photos with a wind deflector on the yakima rack, but the only one i can find on yakima's site doesn't look as though it will fit to our crossbars. Where did you guys get these and how can i find one?

thanks alot,
technocoy

technocoy, take a look in my gallery. i went with horizontal mighty mounts and the newer style Thule wind fairing. Best part... it works.

thanks for the info guys,

that looks great eclipse, did those crossbars mount to our factory rack? or did you have to modify? that may be what i get if there is no modification. how much did you spend?

thanks again,
technocoy

Its actually the Thule fairing, same as EclipseGSX who I think showed us all how to attach it. I think it looks better than the Yakima fairing. cost about $40.

technocoy, just go to your local REI or outdoor store and they should have the Thule windfairing in stock. It comes in several sizes, I can't remember which one i purchased.

everything you need to mount, except horizontal mighty mounts, is included. there is no modification necessary.
