Any of you have experienced this kind of problem?

Also, anybody knows how you call those 2 broken parts? Safety rings?

Thanks,
Michael

Take it to a muffler shop and let them fix..

The waranty is 2 years or 24k miles for the original owner.

Hose clamps work well. It just a heat shield take it off. If you are worried heat transfer to your floor boards use header wrap.

You can even use that strip of metal with the many holes in it. They sell it at WalMart for like a dollar or something...

Thanks all!
I learned a new word - "hose clamp"!

I did replace those "safety rings" with "hose clamps".

It's so stupid the way the part is designed. On one side you have a tough nut and bold to hold it tight and on the other you have this frickin narrow area to make it breaks.
