BIG Pennsylvania meet

OK kidz, the summer weekends are filling up fast so set this one aside if you can,

AUGUST 13-15

Here are my thoughts so far...

Plan #1 - Our 4x4 club is hosting it's annual Coolride event at Paragon Adventure Park in Hazleton, PA. I invite any and all to attend.

If 3 days of offroading is too much, we could go for one day on our own, a VX only run, if you will.
Dinner, drinks, and big-screen trivia at Damon's after.

Plan #2 - There are a few car show / cruises going on in the same area that weekend...

The one on Sat. is 45 minutes south of Hazleton, the one on Sun. is 10 minutes north of Hazleton.
We could do either or both, follwed by dinner, drinks, yada, yada, yada...

Plan #3 - (my tentative plans)
Thursday - wheel at Paragon
Friday - wheel at Paragon
Saturday - attend car show with VXers -or- wheel at Paragon
Sunday - attend car show with VXers -or- wheel at Paragon

Plan #4 - either Sat or Sun, we could just have a big family reunion-type BBQ/picnic w/ food and mods and games


That's it, unless I can come up with something else. Anybody have any ideas?? I'm open to suggestions.
I did some searching on the site and I found that there are around 2 dozen members in PA, and several more dozen in the surrounding states. I hope we can make this thing HUGE!!

Well you beat me to the idea of a huge Paragon trip. Oh well, not a problem. :) But, the problem is you are going to force me to leave a day late to go to Myrtle Beach with my girlfriends family. :( Anyway one missed day at the shore won't kill me. I'll be there for at least the first day of the meet.

i will be in new milford PA the weekend before,then up to ny for the week, and i waas planing on heading out on friday, but, if i time it right i might be able to make it to this for at least the first day..then its straight on back down to florida. to be back by monday am...

there is also a possibility i may be towing a vehicle back down, so id have to find a place to park the car & trailer for a day or so...

This sounds like a blast, but like lots of us I'll have to see how my schedule shakes out.

The way I'm working right now, I could probably show up for the Sunday show only, which would still be cool if I could bring my Dragon in for a meet with lots of other VXs. I haven't been able to make it to a meet since last summer, and I'm missing seeing some other trucks!

I just got my VX and have been wondering how it would perform on the trail. I wouldn't want to do any crazy wheelin but one day of easy stuff then clean it up for the car show would work for me. Lets start getting things set because one way or another I will get out of work for this.

I'll probably just go to the Sunday show, that way there's more wheelin' to be had! :D
