Most on this site have seen the chart that shows the VX Production Numbers ..... with 4152 (approximate) left-hand drive vehicles shipped to the US ..... but how many have seen the US Sales figures .........
.
according to Wards:
.
.
.

1999 2000 2001 2002 2003

Isuzu
Vehicross 1,271 1,223 978 681 13
.
.
I believe these figures add up to 4166 ..........

If you removed the 2003 USED VX's and one that was sold in Dec 31st, 2002 but paid for on Jan 1st 2003 then we are back to the 4152 number. ;Dp;

There were VX's in 2002??? Why did I think that 2001's were the last ones? Or were those that were sold in 2002 actually 2001's?

It *appears* from these numbers that:

A) someone was drunk and/or high or both .............. (where is legalizhemp when you need him) .........
.
.......... or ............
.
B) 681 new VX's were sold in 2002 ....... and 13 new VX's were sold in 2003 .......... could this be possible ......... ??? Could I be incorrect in assuming these are *new* sales figures .........
.
???
.
I did hear there were a few ....... maybe more than a few ..... people that got *great* deals on VX's that were sitting on the dealer lots for a while ......... thousands off sticker ....... some purchased a new VX for almost the same amount as some used ones were sold for ........

.... more .........
.
the numbers appear to be ..... 'possible' .......
.
especially if 2005 VX's were produced in 99 - and 1271 were sold.
.
So the sale of many 99 VX's may have occurred in 00 .... and 00 sales carried into 01 ........ and many (almost half) new 01 VX sales continued into 02 ........ and even into 03 (13 sales) .............
.
???
.
This reminds me of when I saw a new Plymouth Superbird ..... (or Daytona Charger - the one with the huge rear wing) sitting on a local Chrysler dealer lot for what seemed like forever ...... back in the late 60's or early 70's .......
