Here's my questioon to all of you. 99's have stock 16's while 00 and 01 have stock 18's.

Does anybody use 17's?

I want to go with a large look. I know many of you go with a larger rim but you sacrifice the meety look for alot of side wall rubber. I like all that rubber, I personally don't like the look of a low profile tire on a SUV.

Does anybody know what the largest tire you and put on a stock 16" rim...without cutting the cladding?

Same question...but now for a 17" wheel.

Need response's....buying in the next few days.

DOES ANYBODY HAVE USED WHEELS AND TIRES FOR SALE? THAT LOOK THE WAY I'M DESCRIBING THEM.

There is a member that has pictures of his 17" wheels and tires in the gallery.

I run with 17" for street and 16" for off-roading. I don't think they are as meaty as your looking for, but I love the ride.

.
a little cladding trim will not hurt ......... should not cost you too much sleep ..............
.
and ......... in the front, may be desirable .......... the front bumber cover is very close - almost too close - the the tire ..........

I agree. I think 17" is the best of both worlds.

Hey, just saw some 315/70/16 on ebay. Does anybody know if this will fit our stock 16's? They seem pretty wide but...315's WOW!
