Got them in the mail yesterday, not sure if I will keep them on or not. Do not like how the letters are so raised in comparison to the 3.5L... What do you guys think?

Found the pic while surfing... I think it is a sculpture of what we would look like if we bred with cows, or if Cows evolved to be us.
But it was never explained more than that.

Not too bad, but I agree with you on the raised appearance. I looked into getting custom eurocal emblems a while back (to replace the rear "ISUZU") and that would be ideal as it would match the OEM. The minimums and set-up costs were prohibitive for what I had in mind, but might be acceptable for a "Supercharged" logo. What wasn't used by the VX group could be eBayed to the masses.

Dave-

Where did you get the intake for the SC, got any links?

Thanks- Jay

Mine was fab up form my Hotshot intake (elbow closest to the filter) and part of a VW intake (from out of the throttle body)...

So, there's no kit for SC's?

There is not one designed for the SC... I think Grandpa Bob is running his Injen intake on the SC and 01VX has a weapon R CF intake on his SC.

Tone was going to work on CF one? Tone any progress with that?

There is good news on my end....

When the induction hoods come in from Carbon Werks....

*drum roll*

.... I have the final solution for the ram air induction!!!! I knew you all would be excited!! :D I guesstimated where the holes in the hood would be and I fashioned the ram air guts from the opening to the airbox. DAMN did it work out great!! Thanks to MachineVX's reply in another post, I got back to the drawing board and came up with solutions for airbox AND cold air intake users. Even so, I found a way to use BOTH the air box AND a cold air intake!! Both work and fit phenomenally well!! I am gonna keep on this and see about prettying it up so it''s more presentable for pics and later for show (opening that hood so people can ooooh and aaaah). Now, once John gets me that damned insert, I can finalise this thing. If it comes to more modification, I am very confident that I can produce these kits on my own and sell them. If it's simply something I can buy up and easily mod, I will just share part numbers and directions on installing.

Things are looking up damned well for this ram air.

Now let me ask you this....how much clearence do you have from the top of the SC(or manifold) to the hood insert?

If you wanted to modify a ram air there you would have to have some clearence to run a tube or whatnot to the air box.

Or just add a hood scoop....

1.Facing forward to catch air to blow down on the engine.

2.Facing backward to let hot air flow out.

I thought of a hoodscoop and was trying to figure what would be more effective points 1 or 2....any thoughts?
