Tried a search, nothing showed...
I want to replace the stock tape deck with my pioneer premier MP3 headunit. It has the capability to control CD changers, but I'm wondering if it will just plug up, or will I need some sort of adapter harness, or will I have to make my own?

I searched for over a month for something that would work, but never came up with a solution. The problem is first finding a way to match up the stock wiring to the Pioneer IP Bus connection, and then, it is highly unlikely that the Pioneer controls will actually work with the stock unit correctly.
I ended up putting a DVD player in the bottom DIN slot, and I sold the stock changer to pay for it.

i have been wondering the same thing. But, all the stereo shops seem to have the same answer that it will not work out right. Even if they could get it working they say it will mess up shortly there after.

IMHO The stock CD changer is not worth the effort.
I found a Pioneer CDX-PD6 to match up to my new head unit.
Or use that slot for something else.
