I'm getting ready for a cross country trip with my VX. (I'm flying out and driving back)

Would someone mind taking three measurements for me?

1) The height from the hump on the passenger's side floor to the seam at the bottom of the airbag.
2) The height from the lower part of the passenger's side floor to the seam at the bottom of the airbag.
3) The distance from the dash to the front of the passenger's seat. Measure this as though you were trying to see how large of a box you could fit in there.

Thanks,
Tad

4 bolts, and the seat comes out, toss it in the back, I've done it many times for big packages.

That would work, except that I'm not loading a packing in, I'm thinking about a laptop stand.

Nobody has a tape measure near their VX?

1) The height from the hump on the passenger's side floor to the seam at the bottom of the airbag. 19"

2) The height from the lower part of the passenger's side floor to the seam at the bottom of the airbag. 20 3/4"

3) The distance from the dash to the front of the passenger's seat. Measure this as though you were trying to see how large of a box you could fit in there. 14 1/2" (16" w/front of seat compressed)

Thanks Joe! Now, where did I leave the saw :)

One more: The width of the floor at it's narrowest point. From my memory it's about the same width, so from the transmission hump to the door panel right in front of the seat should be fine.

Thanks again,
Tad

The saw isn't for the VX, it's for a section of wood to put on the floor.

Well, I don't need that last measurement, I just made do without.

I'll post pics as soon as I can try it in a VX.
