I searched around and came up with what I thought would look pretty cool with the the "blacked out" SC.

The thing is this is for a honda and does'nt give any specs on the diameter of the intake pipe.

Does that really matter, can it be mounted?

I plan to search around to find a matching(carbon fiber) heat box to go along with it and switch ot the filter for a K&N cone(keep the other for back up).

But for $80, I think it's a pretty cool/cheap mod.

Hey Jay,

I think the Honda intake is smaller than 3" - you need to fine one with a 3" tube I believe.

I emailed to find out the diameter of the pipe, if it's 3".....it's mine!

With further questioning I found out this tube goes from 3" to 5" to 3", is this a bad thing or is it better to have a straight 3"?

Thanks- Jay

it wont matter.

Its an intake, not rocket science.

I stuck a "ricer" cone from advance auto on the end of my intake pipe on my trooper and it was fine.

Actually it was to short, so I went to Home Dumpot, and got a 3" diameter drier exhaust hose (the flexy kind) and extended it to the corner of the engine bay.

Intakes are brutally simple.

I'm having Mike Morgan whose posted on thread fab one for me. Full stainless plenum, and stainless cone 200 shipped. I'll post pics following install. I'm stoked because my home job, silicone gaskets are toast.

Just thought I'd post this from the other thread in case it is of interest.
