Who among us has had their seats re-upholdstered? I've been kicking this idea around in my head recently, and though it might be a good idea to enlist the input of my fellow VX'rs on this issue. Post your pics, experiences, costs, recomendation's of qualified shops etc... Thanks :work:

Nav,
I was thinking of just ripping them out and putting in racing seats. I think it's reasonable to assume I could find a proton yellow / black racing seat that will match my VX :D Of course, I was also thinking of ripping out the back seats.
Out of curiosity, how much would it cost to reupholster the whole interior w/ yellow & black leather? Anyone have any ideas?

Guy named shawn (goes by forgetful on this board) showed up at the Orlando meet with yellow and black seats and yellow carpet in his proton. I don't think he used leather - the shade was a little off (brighther than the proton yellow) but it looked great.
From the Orlando meet:

Would be nice, but looks a little "puckery". Nice yellow, though!

My thoughts exactly - I was personally at that Orlando meet and agree. Find yourself some seats on www.car-part.com and just replace the fronts seats. Much cheaper and you'll get a known result.

What kind did you get? I was considering Corbeaus or Sparcos, but no way can you get a pair for $300.
