VX gone bye bye

Well boys and girls, my VX is gone. Dropped it off in Austin yesterday in exchange for the Jag of my dreams - Gold XJ8 with all the toys and luxury that comes with it. Take a look below...

Anyway, I want to thank all involved for having and maintaining such a wonderful website. I got so much helpful information that I never would have gotten from a manual, the dealer, or the mechanics. Keep up the excellent work. I would definitely check it out from time to time, but for now I hope I can find such a similar site for my new (used) Jag.

my old as dirt father just bought a 2001 jag on ebay. 17k miles

Clean carfax, had to get a door repainted.

$7000

Dealer forgot to set a reserve.

Still has tons of stuff wrong with it though, A/C wont work while stopped for more than 30 seconds (at a stop light for instance), the radio cuts on and off, and other weird stuff.

I thought ford was supposed to fix that stuff. :P

The problem with that is that labor and Jag parts can be quite expensive, then the Jag could end up costing more than it is worth.

The one I acquired is in awesome condition and came with a 24 months/unlimited mileage warranty that covers ever the buttons on the A/C.

Even though it keeps me from going offroad, I'm glad I have my warranty.
