Yes, the VX has a Cat Converter. As far as reducing the emissions I'll leave that to those who aren't as mechanically challenged as I!;Db;

The American version of the VX actually has 2 catalytic converters and is listed as a Low Emission Vehicle by the EPA. Of course, that is for SUV standards

Funny......I have the factory "smog index" sticker on the drivers window, Scaled from 1-3. It says "average vehicle= .53..... VX=
1.29". I guess they're comparing it to a car?

Why do you want to reduce emissions? Smoke = power. Oh wait that is diesels. Pour in the coal juice baby. As long as you keep her tuned up there should be no problems. Remember we constantly adjust for small changes with feedback from the 02 sensors.

Would there be any benifit from removing tha cats, i.e. power, torque type increases. I know it'd be louder :thumbup:

Just wonderin, i know of a few cars that have high flow/no restriction pipes they swap out w/the cattwhen they go to tha track, to give 'em some more umph ;Db; ....x

Also 4 O2 sensors that will throw codes if the CATs are removed.
