Look nice...I think I like yours better than mine. Both are custom, but yours looks more like the original seats.

Just read the other post...mine were about half that....okay, I like mine better!!

However, with mine you can not use the seat extenders...which kinda sucks.

NICE! I need some! Wanna keep that leather protected from my dog's spooky nails.

I may have to look into getting some. Good find.

Shame they don't have Urban camoflauge (that black/grey/white) patterns. ;)

Anyone want to try to put together a group buy?

After a recent offroad trip where I got way too much mud on my seats I need these!

$205 isn't bad to protect the stock seats. Anyone know if these will rub the leather wrong and leave marks of any kind?

Jay

Hey WormGod

In the Wet Okele they do have a camoflauge pattern.

Those look real nice... I wouldn't mind having a set. It would be a great way for those with Proton's to get the black/yellow seat covers that would look just too awsome IMO. If someone looks into a group purchase, I think I might be game.

Coach... I mean Randy (I often forget who I really am) ;)

click on my second link (http://www.legacyseatcovers.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=LMS&Product_Code=isuzu_vx_fs) and read the statement above the vehicross picture?

"Legacy Custom seat covers a all priced by the complete sets (bucket seats = 1 set), and are also available with piping along the trim giving your seats that "classy yet sporty look."

I saw multiple yellow collors on the site ,but as you can't make out a match from a computer screen, my question is: "which of these colors matches the proton color best?"

I love the look of thos seat covers, and they're washable too. Just replaced my work leather drivers seat, the new one feels much better, but @ $205 per set those covers are a great option

If we could get a group buy, I would be all for it.

I was kidding about the camo pattern. Even though that pattern would match, it would look god awful silly. Instead, I would keep the black and gray the same iwht the covers as it is on the seats.

Quick question: Do these things stink after they get wet? Lord knows I have plenty of foul weather gear with plenty of neoprene in them, in addition to all my wetsuits and crap. If you get neoprene wet then confine it in a sealed hot environment, it can grow some nasty bacteria in it. Completely harmless, (unless you ingest it) but it stinks to high-hell.

I'd be interested in seat covers like these only if they don't stink after getting wet. The only time I'd use them would be after I go sailing and come back dripping wet.

Not to take anything away from this thread, but there are some seat covers at advance for like $25 that look similar to these.

The deal with these I guess Maugan is they are made to fit... secondly are stated to be waterproof?... so that is the deal with them. The custom fit is reall nice as I don't like poor fitment on things like this

I can understand the fit if you plan on keeping them on for more than a day at a time.

Thats cool.

I spoke with Jose at Legacy today and ordered a set. I'll post impressions after I get them.

What was your cost Scott, if you don't mind me asking?

Just like they advertise $205 plus $20 for shipping. They also offer logos for an additional $40 which I might have been interested in had they offered a "VX" logo :) The product looks real good in the web site and there is a 1/2 of foam in the material. I have ordered the burgundy and black version to go with the paint and it looks like a close match. We'll see...

I really looking forward to your impressions. I have the wet okele and I love them. They fit perfect, snug...never move, lift or slide. The price for they other one sounds great. But it does make me worry about the quality. If they as good or better than the wet okele, I would even swith.....I like the stylish look better than the okele's. However, I do like the red headrest.

Got the covers and installed them. Pics to follow. Initial impressions are very good. A bit difficult on the passenger side due to the seat track issue. You "stick" in the seat better than sitting on leather. Color match is good.
