Does anyone out there have experience with the power button and it’s association to gas mileage? Does having the power button engaged help or hurt gas mileage? From what I can tell, the button just makes the transmission downshift with less pedal depression. In other words, gives you better response time when you try to accelerate to pass or take off. My common sense would tell me, then, the VX would get worse gas mileage with the power button on. Please tell me what you think.

Depends on how heavy your right foot is!;Dy; I don't notice much differance in MPG with the power button on or off. But I drive the same either way. But its funner to drive with it on!

It adjusts the shift points in the tranny. It doesn't affect the mpg just quicker shifting from the tranny thus more power (optimized rpm). It has been said that it is better on the tranny for it to shift quicker (easier on the tranny belts, less loading, etc). The interceptor Tone sells really does this more so...fyi
