replacement for the armrest in center console.

my padre just purchased an ebony VX, and the center console (puffy round thing) lid was all messed up so they sent him a replacement. he had me check to see if it fit, and when i did, i realized that the replacement was flat. i kinda like it, but my padre doesnt, so i might switch with him. does anyone have this or know what im talking about? do you all think it looks better? at least it would make use of the nitch to lift it with, which you dont need with the round one.

okay, so i decided to put it on, i think it looks better than the round one. the picture shows it to be off color but its not. what do you all think?

That is the only one listed for the VX UNLESS you go to the accessory catalog for the VX (Merlin knows this well as we had an issue with this very item) and he can get it for you. Seems the arm rest, CD changer, and alarm were NOT installed in Japan and instead were done here - that is why they do not appear in the regular list of VX parts.
