I know it has been hashed over 10 million times but can someone give me a simple answer because I need to buy tires this weekend. I have a '99 with the stock 16's. What are the largest size tires I can upgrade to without cutting or susp. upgrades? If possible could I have more than 1 size option, 2 or 3 sizes I can try to obtain. Thanks a lot! PS do you guys like white lettering?

265/ 70R16. Big as '99 rims will allow.
"No" to white lettering.... (just my 2 cent opinion)

Hello to all american VX owners.

I am a U.K. owner of a blue VX. I am considering putting some Pirelli Scorpion Zero's on my VX, in this country they have available the stock 245 70 16 tyres that are on it at the moment. Does anyone have any experience of this high performance tyre? I know that it is predominantly a road tyre but I am on the look out for a spare set of wheels on which I will fit some proper dedicated Mud and Snow tyres for winter.
I would like to say that this web site is great in the U.K. this vehicle is not recognised by the main importer International Motors and as a consequence servicing is a nightmare ( all dealers will not officially service it and those who are willing only service it as a petrol Trooper) and the parts are not much better. However, with the help of Scott at Moncha and this web site I now know more about the vehicle than I used to and probaly a bit more than anyone in the U.K.
