Has anyone on here had any experiance with powerdyne superchargers? I may be changing my plans from a turbo to a S/C for easy removal if things go bad. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also those of you with the Alpine kit, what boost levels are you running? Anything over 6psi?

Alpine shipped with a 4psi and now they offer a 5psi... Been running with the 5psi on for a bit.

Mine came with 5 lb. pulley, I thought that I read somewhere that 5 lb. boost was about all the CPU could handle w/o some sort of reprograming?...anyone else remember seeing that?
Or maybe...I dreamt it, who knows?

I heard that too... wish we could get some reprogramming done to our ecu.

I have done a little researching on the ecu subject and i was told that some of the tunning programs for the LS1 Cameros will work on our ecus, they are the same except for of corse the programming maps. You could always do a good piggyback fuel controller like a greddy or blitz. I am going to step up to 24lb injectors when i do the turbo/Sc if i need to and see what the stock ecu does.

Here is a link to another forum thread about an ecu reflash that could be possible to use on the VX, not sure but it may be possible.

I have had Jet do a reprogram on my 95 GSR back in the day... BIGGEST POS. I had it later worked on and the told me that all they did was give it a new casing and slap a JET sticker on it. Will NEVER trust them again.

I've heard that about Jet from a lot of people online. They add a sticker and that's about all.
