That's funny, I've been considering giving my beast it's own unique paint job, (especially if I ever want to make Truck Trend) but I PLANNED on experimenting with a scale model since I don't have Photo Shop, something the above APPEARENTLY didn't do.;eekb; HOOOFA, at least I know which colors NOT to use.;) :D

It's a fender mirror... you know, for looking at the ground. ;)

Actually, it points towards the curb to aid in parking.

I think he's asking about the OTHER horn thing on the front! It's looks like a GPS or XM or onStar antenna to me. And the wing antenna on the roof is for TV I think. Also I believe the front fender mirrors are for looking at the blind spot on the passenger side... not for parking as the curb would be on the right over there in Japan!

P.S. I actually like the black and orange one at the top. I'd like to paint my Proton orange if the day ever comes when my factory job is shot. Here's an old PS job I did...

The VX is one of the few cars that I would own in any color they made. In 01 someone passed me on the road in a Proton and it was love at first sight. Before I got the VX I was looking at an XTERRA. I don't like it that much but they have a great orange called Atomic Orange - I vote thumbs up for the orange VX above (w/o lowering). Nice Photoshop work also. Has anyone ever painted the gray plastic under the headlight to match the car color? (like the 3000gt). Maybe a PS project.

Australia drives on the same side as Japan (the correct side, not that other side crap. he he) and the mirror is obviously on the kerb side when you park. But the thing is pretty much useless as you cant really see too much with it. You would also be amazed as how many people point at it and say "what is that" over here.
