I had my car broken into last night. Now I have a broken rear vent glass on the driver's side. I called a few places and got quotes around $500 to replace the glass. I was told that there is no aftermarket part and the dealer's price for the glass itself is over $400! I am wondering if anybody on this forum knows a good place to order ISUZU parts, which may charge less markup and give me a better deal. I live in the SF/bay area.

Many thanks in advance.

rear vent window?

If you mean the quarter glass window at the driver's side rear, a new window should be around $200, according to my dealer. The reason I know this is that the same window was busted on my VX a few weeks back and they were the first people I called.

I called the Isuzu/Hyundai salvage guys and bought a window from them for $125. $45 to install using a local glass installer.

Thanks for the reply Cyrk and Anita!

I will try out the places you suggested. It is the 3rd piece of glass on the side--the one next to the rear window. Is this the same glass you were referring to, Anita?

Hey YHZS-

Don't know if they have the part you're looking for, but just wanted to say I bought a center console lid/pad from All Hyundai & Izusu, and they were great.

Got what I wanted, in the condition they said it was in, and fast. I'd got to them first.

That's it.

Yep, that one. Looking into that window you would see the rear seat belt attachment to the side of the VX.

i had to replace the drivers window, cost me 245 and i just popped it in myself. being this glass is glued, obviously you want a professional, but i don't think the install would cost more than fifty bucks.

I have a drivers side little window spare. I'm talking about the one behind the drivers seat.
