4Hi Extended Use?

Has anyone had the 4Hi mod on their vx for some time? I'm wondering if there are any long term effects of using it occasionally (like the clutch burning out)....

well tod is on aslong as ur moving faster then 5mph(somethign like tat), so its basically 4wd Hi. and if u think about it....engaging and disengaging the clutch unit would probably burn it out faster then having it always engaged

there is a mod out there on a trooper board somewhere about installing a switch to engage the TOD 100% in Hi rang all the time ( a simple one-wire hook up) ....so you could have 3 options.... normal, TOD locked up 100%, or TOD disconected (2wd).. :rollo:
