CT VX Meet - Mohegan Sun 2-12-05

Well we just made our reservations. This will be our (Vicky and me) 3rd anniversary, and not so coincidentally, our 3rd annual NE VX casino meet.
We will be checking in Thursday morning, Feb. 10th, and gambling thru Friday night. We are going to leave Saturday after dinner, which gives us all day Sat. for a little get together. :)

Let's say 10am-ish, Saturday, February 12th on top of the main parking garage, the same place as last time. I took this from our Mohegan thread back in 2003...

We will meet on top of the River View parking garage on the river side. It is the side with the two HUGE flags atop two flagpoles, also huge. One is the American Flag, the other is the blue and white Mohegan Tribal flag. Go in the main entrance, stay to the right until you see a sign for the garage, then follow signs.

Remember, the entrance comes up really quick, you don't want to drive past it, again... ;)

For directions, the town is Uncasville. I believe the casinos are off of rte. 2A. Or I think you can get directions at www.mohegansun.com

So far there are six(6) up for the meet. Anyone else from Jersey going to caravan up? How about you NH guys? It's just as far for you guys as it is for me in VT. The meet is only like four weeks away...let's make plans.

I'm all of three and a half weeks into my VX ownership, but the Mrs. and I will try to make it, for the day anyway.

No mods yet, but I just got Tone's howdy-mail and saw a couple of parts/kits I already see the need for. Maybe I'll have them done in time?

Just had our first "Major" snowfall here in VT(3 stinkin' inches,should have been about 3 feet by now).

You've never seen my VX in town because I only got it a month ago! I bought it from a dealer on Long Island, too, so it was never a local. But it'll start getting around pretty soon. Anyway, I'll keep in touch about caravanning to the meet...

Well the record still holds with Anita @19 VXs. I beleive it was in 2003 on the West Coast. We had 10 at Foxwoods last year and 9 at Monticello in December,2004. Damn right we can break the record(on the Northeast anyway) :jump:

Great Amack...bring the cladding along to the meet. I think Zadam should be bringing some of his toys for sale and I will be bringing some spare VX literature and assorted VX stuff to sell also.
That will be great...we will have a mini flea market going and who knows there might be some stuff that someone else could bring along.

So VehiGas I guess that was NOT you driving around Manchester,VT last weekend either. Who ever it was could use that piece of cladding.That Silver VX had cladding damage(big piece ripped right out) on the rear quarter passenger side.
Really looking forward to the weekend. Mohegan should be a blast. Weatherman is calling for temps in the mid to upper 20's but sunny.
Bring the cameras. Who ever else can come up and join us...DO IT.

The show director has offered us the facilities for a private VX meet/car show/concours d'elegance...if there is enough interest. More details to follow....from what I heard, they do it up right

This annual Casino meet, is one of the few reasons I miss living in NYC.
I'll Be there in Spirit. Just got my VX back tonight since the accident 3 weeks ago. The insurance company/ body shop still can't locate all the parts.

I was depressed without my VX so my cousin dragged me to Mardi Gras in New Orleans, however I can't post those pics on the site might get kicked out. Contact me via messenger if you want to see Mardi Gras Pics. ;)
