Well since i switched from the turbo plan to the S/C i decided to do a custom exhaust on my Axiom. I started with one of my Morgan-tec stainless mufflers, single in dual out. Then i bent up a custom set of 2.25" aluminumized pipes. All of this ends in a set of 4" oval stainless tips that i cut receses in the bumper cover for. I am very pleased with the outcome, deep idle and awsome sound. It really picked up the throttle responce and seems to have helped the top end some as well. It was a little tight on the drivers side crosover pipe but it can be done with a little skill, i actually could have fit 2.5" if i would have tried. No dyno #s yet but that will come very soon. Here are some pics and i will try to get a sound clip soon. Let me know what you think.

Looks sharp Mike! Did you get a before-n-after dyno?

Looks great - can't wait to hear the sound clip! Could you post a close up pic of the bumper cut outs? Did you use any trim around the opennings, or just cut it out and leave the edges raw?

Joe black, I have a before dyno but no fter as of yet but i will soon.
Raque, I just enlarged the stock opening on the pass side and copied it on the drivers. Duplicating the Axiom concept car. I used a small air saw and then sanded the edges smooth. I left them for now since paint is comming this spring i will get it then.
Thanks for all the comments, i am pleased with it, a little on the loud side but that will smooth out a little with time.

I'll have to post a clip of my PVII, it is loud! It cackles as well. Had a cat back 2.5" single exhaust built by the local muffler shop.

Yay...another Axiom owner on here. I have heard a lot of people complain bout the PVs being to loud. Mine is loud but no crackles. I will try to get a sound clip soon.
Morgan, when you get the dyno run done, see if they can print it in several colors to more clearly show the change. Each run should at least be in different color- the DynoJet SW can do it. Here are my 2 runs with stock exhaust manifold and Bob Land shortie headers:

Very appealing. Been wanting dual exhaust for some time now, just too lazy and forgetful to get a quote around here. My brother in law was gonna do it, but then he up and moved to Florida. :\
I htink you should get in contact with a local VX owner around your way and hook one up. That way you can sell pre-fabbed kits for us folks. ;)

Here is that close up pic of the tip and opening. Please excuse the dirty car, the roads here are still crapy and its not worth washing it yet.

Not to hijack the thread, but how were the Bob Land headers? Your dyno pic was a tad small. :rightg:
Thanks Tone!
