Hi everyone!
I'm so excited having just picked up my Vx with its new set of BIG shoes installed! Nitto terra Grapplers 285 60 18
They look sooooooo big sitting next to the truck its hard to believe the'd fit!!
I used a coping saw to pre-trim my wheel wells as previously shown on here.
I ordered them from discount tire on the net and then had to drive them over to my installer...3 just fit in the back with the seat folded down and one on the front seat with the seat back adjusted backwards! "JUST" fit!
When I picked the truck up the tire shop owner told me they didnt think they'd fit so they mounted one front one, bolted it on and then turned the steering back and forth to see if they'd clear!!! And this is a very experienced tire guy so to him they looked too big!!!
Any who, they fit great!!! The ride is nice and there is nothing better then seeing your wheel wells all filled up with some wild looking tires!!!
Soon as I get my VX washed I'll grab and post some pics.
