Anyone ever installed a Supertrapp Muffler on a VX?
Just curious because I used to run one on my Porsche 914 Auto-X car. I loved the ability to adjust the sound level and torque/hp by adding or subtracting discs.
I'm in the market for a new system for my VX... just wanted some feedback.
Thanks!

I've seriously looked at the Supertrapp option as a viable alternative to the PV2. I've got the PV2 on the Dragon and a new one in the box on hold for the IronMan, pending location of a suitable resonated stainless tip. I think a resonated tip would mellow out the PV2 without hurting the performance, but as you mentioned the Supertrapp allows tunability. There are several models that would work well, but you'd need to fab the exhaust from the stock box inlet back.

Sound is very nice, not raspy ricey. Its not exactly the muffler I pictured, its the shorter8" long wavetech, but couldn't find a picture of it. Anyway, you can adjust the sound by altering the number of disks in the end cover.
