That is exactly what I was going to say. I wonder if Brabus made a G55 to compare against it. Brabus is suppose to be the TOP mercedes custom shop.

The ones that park at the top of something like that and leave the gear shifter in the wrong place. People actually do those sorts of things.

Honestly though, on the street the X5 is close to us in handling. Off-road, the Touareg is apparently quite capable and I believe it has better approach/departure angles than we do. The AMG has traction control, solid axles and locking diffs. It can climb 36 degrees and traverse a 24 degree slope. But will anyone who pays so much for one ever do that? Maybe. The Hummer crowd does it all the time, and if money is no object...
