about intervals between service (now I have 30,000 miles on odo).
When should I change:
-engine oil
-gearbox oil
-antifreeze
-brake fluid
-differentials oil (front and rear)
-dispenser transmission
-steering-amplifier
plus I'd like to know sort and quantity of oils.
Sorry for elementary questions but there is really short of information in Russia, and only 3 VX in the city with 5 millions of people.
Thanks to all.

Hello Alex,
Welcome to vehicross.info
I just downloaded some photos fromthe 2001 owner's manual for the scheduled maintainance of your VX. I hope you can use this information.

Great thanks for your attention to my question. If it's possible please give one more page - where the sorts of oils are printed. Good luck!

Alex,
I hope you are able to enlarge the photos with the required information. This is the only thing I found in the owners manual for oil requirements. It is very general at best.
I recommend any good 10w-30 weight oil for normal warm weather driving. Any good lighter weight oil (like a 20w-50) for winter or cold weather driving. A synthetic oil called Mobil 1(if synthetic oils are available in Russia) are good for anytype of driving and weather conditions. I personally use the 10w-30 and change it every 2,500 miles along with the filter. I hope I have helped you out.

My dealer just referred me to Mobile 1 0W-30 oil. Apparantly that's what Isuzu has been telling them to switch customer cars over to in order to quiet valvetrain noise in the 3.5L motor.

The engine does idle smoother, I had no consumption issues before the switch, so I'll see if the oil is just blowing out the tailpipe now with such a light weight.

20w-50 is not a lighter weight then 10w-30.for cold weather you should use a 5w-30 or 5w-40 or the 0w-30 synthetic. shawn

John, thank you very much for help!
To tell the truth, it's fun that people from Europe or USA think there is not synthetic oil or something else in Russia. You can have EVERYTHING in Russia (just pay money!)

mbeach, which oil do you use in front and rear axles?

Sorry Alex, I forget a lot has changed over there. Yes use the Mobil 1 synthetic oil for normal changes. Go with a lighter 0w-30 for cold winter driving.
90 weight gear oil for the axles is the best.
Glad I could help you out a little.

Welcome to the board!

Since you're in Russia, what does the name Benkendorf mean to you?
