For those that may not know, the diesel engine in 2nd Gen Troopers and Rodeos internationally is the 4BD1TC and is commonly found in the US powering the Isuzu NPR line of heavy trucks. One or two are usually on eBay and they can also be found at almost any diesel shop. Prices can be very reasonable and parts are commonly available. Couple that mill with a late model 5-speed and then you've got a miserly rig with serious trail grunt and VX good looks. ;)
