Perusing the salvage yard for a spare MAF, when they brought in a 2003 Rodeo which was T Boned on the passenger side. Drive train appeared undamaged & engine looked like new, Asking price for vehicle was $3700 which appeared to be reasonable when you consider replacement Engine- Transmission,etc costs. ECU is in engine bay therefore wiring somewhat different otherwise looked like a EZ swap.
I passed on it which probably indicates that either my engine or transmission will fail in the near future.

DI first introduced in 2004 on the Axiom (250 HP) DI engine was an option on Rodeo that year.

STILL would like to get my hands on a DI Axiom and feel the difference.
