I came across someone's list of the top 10 TV cars. It goes like this:

1. General Lee (Dukes of Hazzard) - 1969 Dodge Charger
2. Zebra 3 (Starsky & Hutch) - 1974 Ford Gran Torino
3. K.I.T.T. (Knight Rider) - 1982 Pontiac TransAm
4. The Batmobile (Batman) - 1955 Lincoln Futura concept
5. Ferrari 308 GTS (Magnum P.I.) - 1980 Ferrari 308 GTS
6. Volvo P1800 (The Saint) - 1963 Volvo P1800
7. The A-Team Van (The A-Team) - 1983 GMC G-series
8. Black Beauty (The Green Hornet) - 1966 Chrysler Imperial
9. Flintmobile (The Flintstones) - The Stone Age
10. Herbie (The Love Bug) - 1969 VW Beetle

Now what the heck is a cartoon one doing on there? Oh well.

Personally I really dug the black 1964 Ford Thunderbird on the Highlander TV series. I'm not sure how the Ferrari Testarossa from Miami Vice didn't make the list. The red "Coyote" from the series Hardcastle & McCormick sticks out in my mind too.

I was just wondering what people's thoughts were on all of this, and what would you say are the top 10 cars in movies?

Off the top of my head, I think you'd have to consider these...

Bullitt 1968 Ford Mustang
Ford Falcon from Mad Max
1983 DeLorean DTS from Back to the Future
The Batmobile from the original 1989 Batman movie
1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am from Smokey & The Bandit

Would anyone include the Shelby GT500 from the recent Gone In 60 Seconds remake? Or perhaps the original Eleanor - the 1973 Mustang Mach 1 from the original film?

SGT.BATGUANO nice one...I forgot about "Christine", 57 Plymouth Fury..if I remember right. One of the best scenes in the movie is when the car returns to the garage after the "Fire chase" creeps in the garage burnt up and still smoking then backs in it's space...One Great Movie ! ! !

Y'all forgot Mad Max's souped up '73 Ford XB GT Falcon
interceptor...

And the Lotus 7 in the opening credits of 'the Prisoner'

And .. Oh, I am sure I could think of several more rare or tricked out cars throughout the years from both large and small screens...

"Christine", was a 58 Plymouth Fury and bad to the bone.
I wish the dozens of cars I have been through could fix themselves like Christine did.
