 I am saving so much money on the tires, I went to the supporting link and sent in my support
You'll probably have to trim the front cladding slightly w/ that outer diam. It's easy w/ a dremel tool or fine tooth hand saw.

Tony,
Where have you been hiding? Check out the N.E. Meet posting...want to see you there !! Checked out the mini tractor site...so cool!
Dem tires are a little too wide without some cutting....Great price though.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up on the free shipping! I had been going back and forth about getting these the last few weeks, but with the free shipping I just did it! I'll post how they work out once I get them installed...

I also went for the Discounttiredirect.com free shipping (Ended June 1).
I was looking for a taller tire than the stock 245/70-16 at 29.5" with a width at the widest point (Section width) of 9.6". The stock rim being 7".
I have both 16 and 18 inch rims, so I looked at various combinations.
The popular 285/60-18 is 31.5" high and has a width of 11.4". This often requires some trimming and the recommended rim width is 8.5". I was just not comfortable with the my narrow rim with this wide a tire.
I really liked the Nitto Terra Grapeler at $167.00 for the 285/60-18.
So, I decide to stay with the 16" rim and found the Nitto TG 265/75-16 for $114. with free shipping. The diameter is 31.6" and the section is 10.4". A 7.5" rim recommended. I will be going 64 mph at 60 indicated.

I got my tires today with free UPS! Oh man they look big. The tread is pretty aggresive, probably not as much as a Nitto, but still compared to the stocks, they look pretty mean. I'm excited to get the mounted later this week. I'm going to get them mounted before trimming anything.. hoping I can at least drive the 5 highway miles home without too much rubbing. I'll post some pictures once they are on and finished! Now to decide if white letters go inside or out... leaning towards inside.

I almost forgot... If you got white letters you have to put them out. They are directional tires..I forgot when I ordered mine..They look OK ..I should have bought blackwalls...Tony B

Yes, they are the 265-60-18, and as soon as I posted my earlier message I went outside and looked at the tires again and realized it said "Mount this side out" on the white letter side. On tires.com you could only order the white lettered version for $58. I guess it settles my dispute I was having as to which side to put out.. I was kind of leaning towards white letter out anyway! :)
Thanks for the encouragement on not needing to trim, I'm excited to hear that!

My tires also arrived.
These tires are not directional. If they were and white letters were mounted outside then left tires would be running in one direction and right tire would be running in the other. You may need to picture this in your mind.
Since they are not directional you can mounted either white letters in or out. I'll mount the white letters in.
Also the FREE SHIPPING promotion has been extended until 6/15, and these are still on sale for $68 each.

 Ok so they are not real directional(what do you expect for $58?) I think they engineered the thread pattern for the "this side out thingy".. Tony B

I can't wait to see the pictures. At that price you almost can't pass them up, and with them extending the free shipping -- Hummmm.
But I'll wait till I can see those pics.

Just got it back last night after work, I'll post the pictures this afternoon! They don't look dramatically different, but they do look nice (in my opinion).

billh23,
Many thanks for the link, this is amazing price! Unfortunately, it is 18" not 16"
Oh well, I will call them and see if there is any special pricing. If I could get the same price for 16" i will definitely donate some of the saving to this great side :)
Cheers
