im running mobil1 5w30 right now but i was wondering if i should go to 10w30 for the summer time it does get up to 100 degrees here in MI. Someone who knows there stuff please help!
On an off note, has ne1 tried that mobil1 5000, 7500 or even 15,000 Im gonna try that 5000 because my local AutoZone has 5 quarts for 10bucks that comes with a Fram oil filter.

I personally use the Mobil 1 synthetic year around...never had a problem and it's recommended by Isuzu mechanics (not that that fact means a lot, but...).
It works well here where we also have drastic temp changes.
Been dying to try that Mobil 5000...keep us posted on any changes if you do try it.

im gonna use the mobil1 5000 but i just dont trust it enough to keep it in for 5000miles. So i will continue to do my 3000 service intervals. So was that 5 or 10w30?

I used to use 10 in the summer, and 5 in the winter.
They are easier to find than the 0W30 that my local Isuzu techs recommended to me.
I wouldn't worry about the Mobil 1 making it over 5000 miles, I'd worry about the motor. If you don't notice any consumption, and if you drive under normal circumstances, 5000 miles should be a piece of cake.

LOL...you guys in Miami don't have to put up with b**l freezing weather in January but you do have the super warm in July/August. (Man, I miss Florida)
I found 10w Mobil 1 still works great all year up here in the freezing North too.
Have used it for years in all my Isuzus, with no problems at all.
