It put a huge grin on my face. Couldnt go far because I didnt have a helmet.

my dream bike is a Hayabusa. When I told my wife you were bragging about you grinning over the Hayabusa's power, she told me to get real, that she knows how men get over toys like that and that it was not a grin, but in fact o Boner you were getting over your GSX1300R Hayabusa

It's interesting how many VX'ers are also bikers. 'Course we've mentioned that before, but it's still neat.
Post some pics! Enjoy the bike and get a helmet! :thumbup:

Like hayabusa?
Check out the ghostrider!
He and his 520 hp busa travel all around europe setting speed records everywhere.
There is one scene I remember where the cam bike (a gsx 1000) is doing 140+ mph and the ghostrider "wheelies" passing him with a difference of at least another 30mph!
truly awesome(or just plain nuts) :yesy: :yesy: :yesy:

I want one too. I almost got one and turned it into a police patrol bike, but I changed agencies before I could do it. Oh well. They are still sexy.

Personally I think the design looks wise is hideous. I just don't think its a good looking bike.Before I get flamed I also understand that the whole idea of the shape is for killer aerodynamics. To each his own though, lookout for the monkeys in cages on the road. ;Db;

Yeah, the Suzuki is pretty funky looking but then again we're all VX owners. :bgwo: Love the early ZX-12R Kaw, very nice ride and wouldn't mind having one. Got a few too many and need to give up before I can get. LOL!
Now as for the '95 GSXR being old school, I beg to differ! How about the original super-bike that started the whole thing, the '73 Z1...

I've had that bike the longest and it's a true litmus test for finding real bikers in a crowd. Now this next bike I recently sold and wish I hadn't as it's always been a favorite, especially after the custom paint. The 1984 fuel-injected GPz1100...

If I lay my hands on a nice, original '84 or '85 Ninja 900 (the first!) then I'd probably part with the Z1. But speaking of 1300's here's mine I sold last Bike Week...

Yep, six cylinders and as much throttle as you care to grab! LOL! Didn't like having my knees that far apart though.
Just for fun I'll leave y'all with six seats instead of six cylinders in what has to be the ultimate pimp-cycle...

Joe my 95 is definately not as old school as yours, without a doubt, but, many fellow gixxer's consider anything 95 and below oldschool. Nice bikes by the way. Keep it upright...David
