Everytime I park I worry that someone in front or back will bump my VX and crack the cladding. Has anyone come up with an add-on -- like the metal brush guards I have on my Rodeo -- that can be added to the VX to protect the cladding without destroying the esthetics?

well just to let u know teh cladding is pretty tough. i wouldnt worry too much about it crack, unless u hit soemthing really hard then ull probably have sheet metal damage.

but just incase u really want one, tone sells a bullbar.

The Westin light bar on my site does offer some protection to the front end and follows the lines well - I have let my VX creep at lights before and bumped the car in front of me and though sure it would have crushed in to my hood, but the brackets and bar hung tough.

As for the rear, several people put the hitch step bars to protect them in city traffic. Here is a link to a new step I just found:
