Many here are diehard Isuzu fans who came to the VX through earned admiration of these well-built machines. So share where you got your start with the big red "I"...

My start began in 1986 with the 192nd 1984 US Impulse, fresh off a 2-year lease at the Daytona Isuzu dealer:

(not an actual picture but an approximation - mine was red with single headlights just like this one).

Joe, those wheels are Hot. I dig.

Mine was an 89 Trooper LS. Lasted 300k miles before I sold her for $850.

If I can dig up a pic I'll scan it eventually.

Love the impulse Joe...sweet ride!
My love affair with "I" started with my trusty '98 Rodeo (which I still own). Bought it in Homestead,Florida and won't give it up 'till it blows up.
My daughter is about to get her license and I'm out looking for another Rodeo for her...yes, she loves it too.

I dont have any pics online of mine, but it was a 90 Amigo XS. Bought it totalled with only 12k miles on it in '93 and pulled out a frame up restoration on it for 2 years following. She was DAMNED pretty. Some of the mods included....

chromed all around
custom chrome rear roll cage
pearl raspberry red paint
custom made sun top
custom carpeting
enlarged sunroof
insane stereo system
polished aluminim wheels
31x10.5 Mickey Thompson Baja HPs
and the list goes on and on....

Damn shame it was only a 4cyl or I would probably kept it longer, possibly even garage kept it for weekend cruising. I gotta see if I can scan some pics of it.
