6 VXs showed for great day of off roading. The weather was great (80 degrees and sunny) and the trail had some pretty tough spots (very high points on the "pucker" meter). Dogue did a great job for his off road devirginization. I think he is now a firm believer in his VXs ability! VCAMILO and myself took the hard option on all but one (after walking that one we decided a little more ground clearance was needed). VXCAVER was pretty impressed with my agility...one wheel 4 feet in the air while climbing this little hill with a few big "mogels"! Thanks to everyone who showed up (VXCAVER, ZU4TWO, BURG (don't forget to wash the VX before going to get that tire replaced under the warranty), VCAMILO, and Dogue.
The pictures will be posted soon!!!!!! :jump:

Well, I got my pictures posted.
Crown King Trip (http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=3034&papass=&thumb=1)
That was a great ride! I kind of even liked the going the wrong way to start off. I always wanted to see Castle Hot Springs! But best of all, it was very challenging and everyone made it out alive (other than the gash on Burgs tire and as yet unknown problems from things underneath the VXes contacting the rocks).
I think it's time to organize something "on pavement", for all the people that don't want to get their trucks dirty :confused:

Good fun! There's a gallery category under the 2003 events if you need it.

Oh sure Scott! Create the gallery after I'm finished uploading the pictures. Is there anyway to duplicate the pictures, so that I would keep my gallery?

Sorry, it's hard to keep up with all of the events that are happening, I try to add them as they get posted but, I get behind once in a while.
You can move them to the category without having to reload all of them. They will still show in your member gallery.

Just wanted to thank everyone that was there in helping me with my first off-road experience. It took me 4 hours to clean my truck and I still have some areas to work on. Every time I turn on the vent all I smell is dirt! Everyone was very nice, thank you!

Terry,
Glad you made the trip! Hope to see you at the next one. I still haven't washed my VX! You should have taken up that "owed" detailing from your friend;eekr; ;Dr;

He (the detail shop) didn't have any openings this week and I really did not like people seeing my VX so dirty! I spent a couple hours on the interior, but it is still not as clean as I would like. I still smell dirt when I turn on the vents! I had a good time though!

Dogue,
Any word on getting reserved spots for the VX's? Let us know! Keep us updated.
VXCAVER,
Hows the paint going? Got the VX back on the road yet? Maybe you'll be able to make this meet afterall!
Any date is good with me except june 28/29. Will be in Coeur d"Alene Idaho for Ironman!
:thumbup:
Who's Fox Fire is that? Where did you get that hood scoop and what size rims and tires are you running, also how much are you asking for your VX?
Looks great!

That would be BURG's most excellent machine! Not sure if it is still for sale...after this trip he was having second thoughts! The scoop was for looks only. As for the tires and rims...they were BFT's on BFR's!;Db; ;Db; ;Do; ;Dp; ;Dr; ;Dy;

Sorry if I dropped the ball on this, I was waiting for a head count and only had 2 people express interest. I will call them this week and set up a space for 6-10 and hope we fill them.

Cool! Once we set a date I am sure those spots will fill fast! I am still in (so long as its not the weekend of 6-28/29-03)!
