Something weird when it rains

Hi Everyone

Have you had this problem when going through deep water or heavy rains, Something shorts out and when you put the brakes on the left turn signal comes on. This has happen twice to my VX when it has been in the Monsoon season in Arizona. :?:

No, that hasn't happened but this did.

I was washed engine of the VX. Now everytime I turn off the engine the radio continues to play for about 2 seconds, cuts off, and plays again for about a half second.

This happened before and I replaced the battery cable. Everything was fine until I cleaned the engine and it started again.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I seem to remember something about a wiring harness that is routed poorly up near the drivers' side headlight. The way it is routed at the factory causes it to rub against a body panel, which over time, wears through the insluation on some of the wires making them short out. I'm not sure if I've listed to correct location though, so maybe someone can verify?
